After a three-year break, we’re thrilled to celebrate our schools together in person! Please join us for the SPARK Spring Fundraising Event.
Boots & Bling
Saturday, April 23, 6-10 pm
HopMonk Tavern in Novato
Dust off your boots, add some bling, or just come as you are for an evening together with great music, food and fun! This community event is for parents, guardians, faculty and staff and will feature indoor and outdoor spaces. Enjoy the hosted bar, passed appetizers, food stations, and tasty desserts. Open seating.
Itinerary
- 6-7pm Cocktails, Raffle & Live Music
- 7-8:30pm Buffet-style dinner, Paddle Raise & Live Auction

District Parent Shannon Hughes from Enlivened Studios will be our Boots & Bling MC. As the CEO of Enlivened Studios, Shannon brings strategic business mentorship and experiential teaching practices to guide her team training experiences, coaching, and interactive keynote speaking. Paddle Raise
Our primary purpose on Saturday is to raise $150k so that we can reach our $1.5M fundraising goal for the 2021-2022 school year. In order to sustain SPARK-funded programs – music, art, science, technology and wellness – we ask that you raise your paddle to help us bridge this funding gap. All tax-deductible donations to the paddle raise will be counted towards your family’s Annual Giving contribution for this year.
Transportation to the Event
- East Corte Madera bus ticket holders: The bus will pickup and drop off at Cove School . The bus will arrive at 5:15pm and depart at 5:25pm. Please be considerate of neighbors when parking. a
- West Corte Madera bus ticket holders: The bus will pickup and drop off at The Corte Madera Community Center. The bus will arrive at 5:15pm and depart at 5:25pm. We ask that you do not park in the Community Center Parking lot and instead park at Town Park.
- Please note buses are sold out and we are not able to accommodate changes in departure location or additional guests.
- Buses will depart Hopmonk starting at 10:15pm and drop off at both the East and West side locations.

We hope to see you there, however we understand that plans change.
- If you are not feeling well, or are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home.
- If you are unable to use your tickets, you are welcome to sell them to another guest. We have already satisfied everyone on the waitlist.
- If you transfer your tickets to other guests, please have them contact us at info@SPARKschools.org so we can update their registration information.

What is the Spring Event?
We’re thrilled to be back in person this year! Boots & Bling will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at Hopmonk Tavern in Novato. Featuring Mercy & the Heartbeats, food, fun, live auction and paddle raise, this fundraising event is not to be missed!
Why does SPARK host this event?
The Spring Event is the biggest fundraising event of the year with the purpose of reaching our $1.5M fundraising goal for the 2022-2023 school year.
How do I purchase tickets and where is the event?
Tickets will be available starting March 23th through April 18th. You must register and create an account in order to purchase tickets. The event will be held at Hopmonk Tavern in Novato. ** As of April 11th, this event is sold out. Tickets will not be sold at the door ** Add your name to the wait list here.
What do I wear?
Anything you want! We intentionally select themes that allow for flexibility when it comes to attire. Whether you want to go all out boots, bling and all, or you prefer a more subdued approach – anything goes!
How much do tickets cost?
$160 per person and limit of 4 tickets per person.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes access to Live Auction, Paddle Raise, Raffle plus cocktail hour, buffet dinner, live music and dancing.
Are there reserved tables?
This year our venue has flexible indoor and outdoor space which makes it fun to mingle and we are not offering reserved tables this year.
Will this event sell out?
Yes! The venue has a limited capacity and we are selling 250 tickets, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
Once the event sells out, will there be a waitlist for tickets?

What are the transportation options?
Be safe, save money on Uber and take the bus! We are providing transportation on Google double-decker busses that will depart at approximately 5:30pm. There will be multiple return times beginning at 9:30pm. We will have two pick up locations: East Side of Corte Madera and another location near Town Park in West Corte Madera. Tickets are $25 per person and are roundtrip and can be purchased at the time you purchase your event ticket. Closer to the event we will provide exact location details.
What will be available to bid on at the event?
The Live Auction will feature swoon-worthy items from once in a lifetime trips to special experiences. Closer to the event, we’ll give you a sneak peek so you can be ready to bid!
What is the Paddle Raise?
Every year at our event, we ask guests to raise their paddles to fund the gap so we can reach our fundraising goal. This is a critical component of our fundraising and you can participate whether you attend the event or not!
Is there a raffle?
Yes! Each year we curate a small selection of items that appeal to everyone and this year is no different – from wine, jewelry, art, grade level baskets and more! We will be selling raffle tickets at the event.
Can I bring my kids?
Boots & Bling is an event for adults only.
What if I can’t attend the event but still want to support?
We are incredibly grateful to families who want to support SPARK. We invite you to support the Paddle Raise to fund the gap with a financial tax-dediutible donation. Use the ticket sales link to make a donation.
