Since its inception in 1980, the Corte Madera Larkspur Schools Foundation (SPARK) has played an important role in financially supporting programs that are at risk of being cut or scaled back in the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District. SPARK Reserve Update
In October, the SPARK Board approved a $100,000 Reserve Spend-Down Plan, allocating $20,000 per year over five years to help support rising program and professional development costs. These funds will help ensure that SPARK can continue fully funding the teachers and programs our students rely on—Music, Art, STEM, Wellness, Counseling, Leadership, Band, and more—even as costs increase each year.
We’re grateful for your continued support as we partner with the district to keep these exceptional programs thriving for every LCMSD student.

Thanks to our generous community, $67,000 in Mini Grants will be awarded to classrooms and programs in the 2025–26 school year.

We are also incredibly proud of our community for the $80,800 raised during the Fund-a-Need at the Sparkle and Shine Spring 2024 Gala, which will go toward supporting the SPARK Mini-Grant program. Stay tuned for more information regarding this exciting initiative!
SPARK received a one-time federal tax credit of $95,563.60 through the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).
