Donating is Easy
SPARK relies on generous contributions from parents and community members to sustain the programs, classes and teachers that inspire excellence in our public schools. None of this is possible without your generosity and participation.
How much should i give?
The recommended donation is $1,650 per student to hit our $1.6M goal for the 2026-2027 school year. All gifts help support and maintain programs and we encourage families to donate an amount that is meaningful for them. Remember to check if your employer has a matching gifts program to increase the size of your donation.
When you give at any level, you make a difference for our students, teachers and schools. All donations are tax-deductible. To thank you for your support, you’ll receive a SPARK car magnet or sticker to proudly show your commitment to our community.

Ways to Give
Annual Giving makes up approximately 73% of our overall revenue each year. In order to reach our $1.6M fundraising goal, we are asking for a donation of $1,650 per student with 100% family participation. Every single gift makes an impact on the students and it truly is a whole community effort to support our schools through SPARK. You can make a one-time donation online with a credit card or set up automatic monthly installments to spread your payments out over time. You can also pledge now and pay later.
WHY DONATE STOCK
- You don’t pay capital gains tax when you make a stock transfer directly to SPARK.
- You qualify for a tax-deduction based on the fair market value of the stock if you have held your stock for over a year.

- Or mail it to: SPARK Attn: Stock Transfers | 230 Doherty Drive| Larkspur, CA 94939
- Ask your broker to transfer the shares to SPARK’s Charles Schwab account. All transferred stocks will be recorded and valued on the date the donor relinquished control of the asset in favor of SPARK. Because Schwab does not attach donor names to the transfers, it is critical that the donor submit a completed stock donation form to SPARK.

Our board members come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience and expertise to SPARK. As parent volunteers, they are committed to supporting SPARK’s mission and working towards providing exceptional education to our schools.
