Online Auction Donation Submission Details

  • More than 1,000 Corte Madera and Larkspur families who live, eat and shop in Marin and beyond will view and bid on items 
  • In exchange for a donated item or service, your business will receive prominent advertising in our community through social media, marketing emails and our auction catalog

This year’s online auction is scheduled for March 13-March 18, 2024.

The Online Auction is filled with an array of items donated by local businesses and families including items for your home, dining gift certificates, travel, kids’ camps, activities and family fun. There is also a great array of events for kids, families and parents. In previous years, this event successfully raised over $100K for our schools, and we count on this revenue to assist us in achieving our $1.5M annual fundraising goal.

Host a Sign-up Party:

Round up your friends, choose a theme, and let the fun begin – whether it’s a big bash like a ping pong tournament, a hiking for kinders, a family movie night in your backyard for 10 or a silent disco for 100, it’s your call. All funds go to SPARK.  Sign up to host your fantastic party now!

Join the Solicitation Team:

Time frame:  Mid-January through early March. We provide you with contacts to local businesses to request great donations for our catalog. This is done through email outreach (we provide the email for you to send!) and/or phone calls and visits to the business if needed.  You choose the number of accounts you would like. Join the Catalog Team:

Time frame: Mid-February to early March. Calling all copywriters and editors! Dive into this fantastic gig from home, flexing your skills on auction package descriptions. Connect with Lori Stein at lstein@SPARKschools.org to be part of this creative team.

Be a Shadow Coordinator for Parent Parties: 

Time frame: Mid-January to early March. We’re on the lookout for a few fun and organized individuals to shadow this year’s Party Coordinators so that you are ready to step into a lead role in 2025. Parents volunteer to plan and host a variety of parties and your ticket price raises money for SPARK. These parent-hosted events range from hiking, yoga, and biking to cooking, painting, and cocktailing. Spots for parties are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prices to attend the parties vary, depending on the time of day and activity. All of the money collected from the sign-ups are passed on to SPARK, so they not only raise money for the Foundation but also allow you to meet more families and make new friends! Whether it’s a big bash like a ping pong tournament or a smaller gathering like a hike up Mt. Tam we’ve got something for everyone.
