Founded in 1980 by a group of concerned parents, the Larkspur-Corte Madera Schools Foundation (SPARK) raises money to support programs are at risk due to ongoing budget cuts. Today’s reality is that public schools in California are community funded and can no longer rely on state and local funding to provide a well-rounded education.
In 2022-2023 SPARK will
- Raise $1.5M District-wide at our three schools to fund programs for nearly 1.400 students
- Fund Music, Art, Science and Technology and Wellness (including Mindfulness, Counseling and Support Services)
We count on you to
- Make a tax-deductible Annual Giving donation
- Consider the $1,025 funding gap per student and make a donation as generously as you are able
- Attend and support SPARK events
- Become a SPARK Biz Partner and support our schools
- Support SPARK with Corporate Match, escrip and dining
