SPARK Spring Spotlight is right around the corner! Tickets are available now  – and here’s the full 411 on all you need to know about this fantastic event!

1. How do I purchase tickets and where is the event?

All tickets are available online through ReadySetAuction. You must register and create an account in order to purchase tickets or bid on items. Passwords and usernames from prior years will not work as they recently upgraded their software.  Once you’ve registered, you will receive a confirmation email from RSA and can finish your transaction! The event will be at Marin Showcase Theater located at 10 Ave of the Flags, San Rafael.

2. What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes access to the cocktail hour with live jazz,  open bar all night long, appetizers, sit-down dinner, Live Auction, Fund-a-Need and dancing with a live band. Tickets are $130  per person and early bird pricing ends on April 21st;  afterwards tickets go up to $150.

3. Can I sit with my friends? 

Yes! You can purchase a reserved table for 10 for $150, which ensures your group sits together. There is also plenty of open seating available at the event should you prefer not to reserve a table. Please note you still need to purchase individual tickets even if you purchase a reserved table.


4. What do I wear? Is this a costume party?

While we’re encouraging you to dress spiffy – that means different things to different people. Whether it’s 1930’s Prohibition chic or cocktail attire we’re hoping you’ll dress up!

5.  What are you serving at the event? 

Thanks to our partners Perry’s on Magnolia, Nugget Market and XXX, we’ve offering a variety of delicious XXXX including XXX.

6. How much money does this event raise?

It costs a lot to put on an event of this scale – from the venue, rentals, and catering.  Our goal is to raise around $220K gross that will benefit our schools.

7. Will there be dancing?

You bet your boogie shoes.

8. What is Fund a Need?

Every year the Principals at each school share their wish lists for the upcoming year and we raise our paddles to support this endeavor with tax-deductible cash donations. In the past the needs we’ve funded have included: adding more playground supervision, enhancing the digital arts program at Hall, replacing musical instruments and paying for teacher training and development.


9. What will be available to bid on at the event?

The main attraction is the Live Auction which will feature a variety of swoon-worthy items from once in a lifetime trips to special experiences.

10. Will there be a raffle?

Yes! Blah blah blah.
